Currently, Bournemouth are second favourites to win the Europa League, second only to Benfica, both literally and figuratively.
Both Betfred and BetMGM have Bournemouth at 5/1 to lift the trophy at the end of the tournament. Not many people would have predicted that several months back.

Thursday night saw The Cherries take on Sparta Prague in the Europa League, in what many expected to be their most challenging game so far. Despite an early scare when they went behind 1-0 in the 35th minute, they were able to turn things around in the second half, in dominant fashion.
America captain Tyler Adams was exceptional, and was rewarded in the 57th minute when he equalised for his team. But Marco Rose’s men were only getting warmed up. Evanilson put The Cherries ahead nine minutes from time, before Rayan wrapped things up comfortably in the 90th minute, solidifying a 3 – 1 victory.
Not only was it an emphatic victory, it also helped to maintain their 100% record in the Europa with their fourth successive victory in the tournament.
It wasn’t too long ago that they were on the receiving end of a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Chelsea in the Premier League. Many people expected that to be the turning point and predicted that the decline would happen quickly. Instead, that defeat seemed to have had the opposite effect. Bournemouth have now won seven games on the bounce, and are being tipped by many as favourites to win the Europa League outright.
Evanilson Envy
Last night, it was Brazilian forward Evanilson, who shone for Bournemouth. He’s been exceptional in the tournament thus far, with 2 goals from 4 games, as well as an assist. He’s also been on fire in the Prem, taking his tally to 6 goals from 13 appearances thus far, as well as 5 assists.
