Next Prime Minister Odds - Can Farage's Popularity Continue?
That’s right. The budget, angry farmers, disheartened voters. It’s safe to say it’s been a bumpy ride for Keir Starmer’s tenure at Number 10 Downing Street thus far with millions of the electorate already demanding a snap general election.
British politics has become extremely polarising in recent years and while it’s not quite at the same level as across the Atlantic, there is increasingly little middle ground.

Nigel Farage
Yep, Nigel Farage. The architect of Brexit and a competitor of Boris Johnson for the closest British figure to marmalade. Farage is either loved or loathed and there is rarely anyone on the fence.
The former city trader picked up a seat during the general election and though his Reform UK party underwhelmed at the ballots, they’re picking up a lot of steam in the betting market to be the next winning party of UK politics.
Such an outcome would be historical as not since 1931 has a general election been won by a party other than the Labour or Conservative parties.

Kemi Badenoch
Outspoken Tory leader Kemi Badenoch cannot stay out of the press. Her recent comments on “lunchtime breaks being for “wimps” and that “sandwiches aren’t being real” are one thing but then she was involved in a political spat with the Nigerian Vice President after reportedly denigrating the country saying that she grew up in fear in the West African country.
With that being said, it’s clear that being outspoken and occasionally outrageous is far from a barrier to winning votes and Badenoch is not too far behind Farage in the betting markets.

Angela Rayner
The right-hand person to Keir Starmer, Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner is an inspiring story. Having grown up in a council house, Rayner is now one of the most powerful people in the country and has a huge sway on UK policy from housebuilding to national infrastructure.
Whilst an undoubtedly different form to Farage and Badenoch, Rayner wears her heart on her sleeve and is rarely afraid to make her feelings well known in Parliament.
