Wimbledon 2025: Jannik Sinner vs Carlos Alcatraz - Who do the Bookies Favour?

Wimbledon 2025: Jannik Sinner vs Carlos Alcatraz - Who do the Bookies Favour?

Starting at the end of this month, Wimbledon 2025 is set to be just as exhilarating and exciting for tennis fans around the world - however, if you’ve been wondering who is most likely to bring home the win, there are several possible players with excellent chances. And, at present, two of the most popular players are Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. But who do the bookies favour, and more critically, which of the two is most likely to win that all important final match?

Alcaraz vs Sinner: The Bookies’ Current Favourite

At present, both Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s odds are pretty much on level par, and as a result, it’s pretty hard to say exactly which of the two is the current “favourite” overall. In the end, this depends on your chosen bookie.

Nevertheless, of the two, at present, Jannik Sinner is the favourite on average across bookies by the tiniest of odds, with current odds of 6/4 (2.5), at Ladbrokes, BetVictor, and Bet365.

How Far is Alcatraz from Sinner’s Odds?

As we’ve briefly mentioned, across all of the different bookies, Jannik Sinner currently appears to be the main favourite, boasting odds presently of around 6/4 (2.5) on average. However, Carlos Alcatraz’s odds are also incredibly short and roughly comparable. In fact, with the aforementioned bookies, Alcatraz’s odds are currently the same as Sinner’s; however, when you expand your outlook to other bookies, such as Unibet, there’s marginally more variability, with Unibet offering ever so slightly longer odds currently of 17/10 (2.7).

Given this, as we’ve seen, both Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcatraz have largely comparable odds, and it’s incredibly hard to say which of the two is actually the current favourite to win Wimbledon. Nonetheless, Sinner’s odds are more consistent at 6/4 with most of the major bookies than Alcatraz’s, indicating marginally more confidence. With that being said, the difference between the odds is so short that, really, it’s impossible to say yet which of these two major characters is the true favourite. Hopefully, we may get more insight into this as time goes by.

Final Thoughts

Wimbledon 2025 hasn’t started yet, so inevitably, there’s everything to play for still. However, it currently seems likely that either Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner will come out on top in the end. With that being said, with their odds currently so close and changing so frequently, it’s impossible to say exactly who the bookies favour currently, and it’s incredibly close depending on which bookie you’re betting with.
